An Unbiased iPad Review

By Judy Horn

Some people can't resist running out and buying every new gadget that appears. Most people own an iPad, but some are still gathering information while being cautious. Is there a right or wrong answer on wither you should own this device one or not, many people have their own opinion. Have you heard people praise or criticize the iPad, below we will look at some of the reasons.

A good reason to get an iPad is if you like to read e-books. Compared to other electronic book readers, such as the Nook and Kindle, the iPad gives you a bright, color LCD screen that's very easy on the eyes. Apple provides the user with a unique bookstore called iBooks, and free app for Kindle is available. Of all the e-readers, the iPad will be more expensive if all it is used for is the function of reading eBooks. The other e-readers besides the iPad don't allow you internet access, or the capability to watch videos or to play games. There is a unique Marvel Comic app which allows you to read your favorite comic books and enjoy the high definition illustrations and many comic book fans like this.

Do you like visual access to your news and other information that is convenient, having a iPad gives you fast access. You can get a free app that gives you complete access to the New York Times (it may cost something later in 2011), as well as apps for various other newspapers and magazines. Having an iPad gives you high quality images and is easy to navigate the layout to be able to enjoy this content rather than using a regular computer. You can get weather and Google Earth, aside from the news.

A lot of people want to buy an iPad, but are waiting for the price to decrease or for an upgraded version to be delivered. People have already started discussing what the new iPad will be and when it will be ready for purchase and what improvements will be made and what features will be added. When the new iPad is released to the public for purchase, the current generation model will be reduced in price. Waiting for a new version is a strategy, but maybe not if the current iPad has features you want right away.

You will still find the device to be fascinating. The fact remains you are the only one who can decide for yourself if you need one. It's important that you take time to weigh the pros and cons discussed here to really know if the iPad is right for you. One thing that's fairly certain is that Apple will come up with upgrades that will fill in some of the gaps found in the first generation of iPads.
